Chute-Bell Project – Hydro-Quebec

Text translation:

David Murray

Innovation Chief Officer and Production President at Hydro-Quebec

We are very pleased to announce that our Chute-Bell facility can now handle other historic floods such as the 2019 flood without requiring residents to leave their homes.
We have modified the generating station to discharge excess water as needed, solidified the western part of the spillway, and dug a diversion channel. In addition, this project was completed on time and on budget.

EnerServ participated in the conversion of the units to flood evacuation from December 2019 to February 2020. Antoine Lagrandeur and his team accomplished quality work within the prescribed time frame.
